Is “forgive never forget” really forgiveness.? 

Bare with me for a second , if I say “i forgive” an individual yet “I will never forget” .. Then how have I really forgave this person for what they have done to me in reality. 

It’s as if I’ll still give you a hug but hold a knife just incase you try something because I’m aware what you are capable of because .. I’ve never forgotten. I might not have the same anger in my heart as the day you left the fresh wound but it surely has not healed.  

So I took a break and this happened ..
