that’s what a real mob do .. “

as women we say we need to demand respect and stop A L L O W I N G individuals to break us down in demeaning ways . .
so as a woman ..
what do you understand sisterhood to be defined as ..
if you “identify” as a Black African Woman ..
do you seperate your self from the Black African “American” Woman ..
or are we one in the same ..
is my sugar brown , or light and dark “valid” too . . ? . .
pretty so painful ,
be yonce .. hurts .. she validated this .
my hair define my beauty,
but you think i got the face to accomodate a baldy .
braces to brace myself for a world that mocks outside the norm ..
- we have to pick one side of the spectrum ,
- God Forbid we play Robyn ,
- fall btw speaking our mind ,
- living only as a human and hard to find similar eyes ..
- they start telling lies.
- i watched Rihanna work her way up in the music industry while transitioning through several public images .. each one played different flaws or roles that can be modeled .
i attended a Women’s Confrence where i learned about :
.. i met two ladies who asked a beautiful question ..
is it our responsibility as a woman to use what ever power we hold to not only spread awareness but support other woman in our “sisterhood”
S I S T E R H O O D ,
every individual that identifies with female wether i know them personally or not . i am my sisters keeper as long as she does not break me down in demeaning ways .
