Books really drove my imagination growing up. I also grew up in a household where I wasn’t allowed to watch TV during the week so I painted pictures in my imagination based on words across the page. Walter Dean Myers had this style of writing that made you feel like you were in the setting of every scene. One of my favorite books is Slam by Walter Dean Myers. He actually has such a good collection of reads. I enjoyed all of his books.
